New stores and restaurants in Bismarck

Bismarck has just been getting a lot of new stores these days. On February 7, Hobby Lobby opened in the old Dan's Supermarket building in front of Gateway Mall. On June 30, Home Depot opened right across the street from Menards. On Century Avenue near the Tyler Parkway exit by the Cracker Barrel, a new shopping center to be called Pinehurst Square is under construction. The stores being built at Pinehurst Square are Kohl's (opened October 6), Best Buy (opened October 21), Petsmart (opening January 28, 2006), Lowe's (opened November 18), and Dollar Tree (opening January or February 2006). A Texas Roadhouse restaurant opened November 21 at Pinehurst Square across the street from the Cracker Barrel. On the south side east of Kirkwood by the state penitentiary theyre building a Wal-mart Supercenter and a Sam's Club and they're also building a Walmart Supercenter on the north side of town two blocks north of Home Depot on Highway 83 which will open in mid to late April 2006. The opening date of the Wal-Mart Supercenters and the Sam's Club is late April 2006. They're also building a Johnny Carino's Italian restaurant. I have no idea when it is supposed to open or where its being built. They are also building a Gordman's which will open in summer 2006. I have no idea whereits being built, but all I know is they haven't started construction on it yet. Buffalo Wild Wings opened a restaurant in Bismarck this past spring on 3rd Street by Kirkwood. One store I hope to see come to Bismarck is Old Navy. Restaurants that I hope to see come to Bismarck are Olive Garden and Culver's.

"Red Eye" Movie Review

Red Eye (2005) Rachel McAdams, Cillian Murphy, Brian Cox

This movie is an excellent suspense thriller starring Rachel McAdams (Mean Girls, The Notebook) as Lisa Reisert a woman who has a fear of flying who is told by Jackson Rippner, her flying partner played by Cillian Murphy (Batman Begins) that he father Joe Reisert played by Brian Cox (Troy) will be killed if she doesnt help him kill a Homeland Security man who is staying at the Lux Atlantic, the hotel that she manages. This movie is the best movie of August. It is a very suspenseful movie that keeps you on the egdeof your seat the whole time. I absolutely love this movie and I am going to buy it on DVD. I saw this movie a the Grand Theater in Bismarck on the Curved Screen. The previews were for one that looked really dumb that I cant even remember what it was and the others were Cry Wolf, The Cave, A History of Violence, Into the Blue, The New World. I first saw a preview for this movie in the theater when I saw The Ring Two and after I saw the preview, I wanted to see it.
