"Flightplan" Movie Review

"Flightplan" (2005) Jodie Foster, Erika Christensen, Sean Bean

This movie is a suspense thriller starring Jodie Foster (Panic Room) as Kyle Pratt, a woman whose daughter Julia mysteriously vanishes on an airplane from Berlin to New York. Everyone else on the airplane thinks she is making up the story about her daughter. Erika Christensen (The Upside of Anger, Swimfan, The Perfect Score) plays Fiona, a flight attendant. Sean Bean (The Island, National Treasure, Troy, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Don't Say a Word) plays Captain Rich. I saw this movie at the Century 10 Theater in Fargo on the iWERKs Extreme Screen. That was cool. I really liked this movie a lot. The previews on this movie were Jarhead, Derailed, Casanova, and Glory Road.

"In Her Shoes" Movie Review

"In Her Shoes" (2005) Cameron Diaz, Toni Collette, Shirley Maclaine

This movie is based on the novel by Jennifer Weiner. Cameron Diaz and Toni Collette star as Maggie and Rose Feller, two sisters who dont get along. Maggie (Cameron Diaz) is the ultimate party girl who can never have a steady job and Rose (Toni Collette) is a successful lawyer. Rose kicks Maggie out of her apartment and she goes to Florida to live with this grandmother (Shirley Maclaine) she never knew she had and later Rose comes and they start to reconcile. I really liked this movie a lot. I was surprised that I liked it because before I went I thought it was going to be a chick flick, but it really wasn't that much of a chick flick. The previews on this movie were Fun With Dick and Jane, North Country, The Family Stone, and Walk the Line.
